Overview
25th on the MRF Tyres ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings, Jersey are a formidable side, reputed for their excellent fielding skills. They are an all-round unit – in the Europe Region Final, they topped the bowling and catching charts and also had three players in the top 10 run-scorers of the tournament.
They are led by the 27-year-old Charles Perchard, a right-arm medium pacer, with 13 wickets in eight Twenty20 Internationals.
How they got here: Jersey won four out of their five games in the Europe Region Final. Although they lost their final match, they finished level on points with Germany to top the table on account of a better net run rate (only a 0.05 NRR margin separated the two teams). They had finished second in the Europe Region Qualifier B with four wins in five matches.

Key player
Anthony Hawkins-Kay – A medium pacer, the 29-year-old has consistently been among the wickets for Jersey. He was the joint-highest wicket-taker in the Europe Region Final with 10 scalps in five matches at an economy of 5.88. He is also a handy lower-order batsman, known for adding useful runs in crucial situations. Jersey will need his experience against top-quality sides.
One to watch
Jake Dunford – The 25-year-old has been an excellent keeper for Jersey in the last three years. In his debut tournament, he set an ICC World Championship League record with 21 dismissals (18 catches and three stumpings) to his name. He was also the fourth-best keeper in the Europe Region Final with two catches and a stumping.
