In the final update of the player rankings before the tournament, which begins on 21 February, New Zealand's Suzie Bates held the top spot among batters. Her team-mate and captain, Sophie Devine, who this week became the first player to make fifty in five consecutive T20I innings, claimed the No.1 place among all-rounders, along with Australia's Ellyse Perry.

Pacer Megan Schutt, meanwhile, goes into a home World Cup as the top-ranked bowler.
