Plan ahead so you can make the most out of your day at Trent Bridge during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019.

Trent Bridge is located 1 mile from Nottingham Train Station and approximately 1.5 miles from Nottingham city centre. The ground is only a one-mile walk from the train station and is also well served by a number of local buses which drop just outside of the ground.

BUS

Spectators holding a valid match day ticket will be given free access to a selected number of Nottingham City Transport bus services operating from the city centre and Nottingham Station to Trent Bridge and back again. These services are:

NCTX Green Line Services – 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9B, 10, 10C, 10X
NCTX Navy Line Services – 1, 3

The buses which stop along Bridgford Road or Loughborough Road and provide the easiest and most direct route to the ground. The match day free travel offer is valid from 07:00 - 20:00.
All the buses which operate between Nottingham Station and Trent Bridge are accessible.

PARK & RIDE

Nottingham Express Transit (NET) operate the Tram and they offer several excellent Park & Ride sites around Nottinghamshire. The two which are recommended for tournament spectators are:

Clifton South Park & Ride (NG11 8BF) – 1,000+ spaces and only 20 minutes to Nottingham Station or alight at Meadows Embankment for a 1 mile walk along the River Trent to Trent Bridge
Toton Lane Park & Ride (NG9 7JA) – 1,400+ spaces and only 28 minutes to Nottingham Station

TRAIN

Nottingham Station is operated by East Midlands Trains who provide direct links to Derby, Leicester, London, Manchester, Sheffield and many other destinations. Cross Country provide services to Birmingham, Cardiff and Northern Rail who provide links to Leeds via Sheffield.

The station has many entry and exit points and we recommend all first-time visitors to the station to follow the signs which direct them to Carrington Street. This will lead you to the station’s ticket hall where our World Cup Cricketeers will be able to guide you to the ground.

Nottingham Station is an accessible station and if you do require assistance please make this known with your rail operator, so they can ensure that you have a safe and comfortable journey.

PARKING

There is no official match day parking available offered by the venue. However, there is a large parking area at Victoria Embankment which has space for up to 2,000 cars and is 0.7 miles from the ground, operated by Nottingham City Council. This costs £10 and is payable upon arrival to Victoria Embankment.

There is a limited number of blue badge parking spaces available at the venue which are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. These can be booked directly with Trent Bridge Cricket Ground by phoning 0115 982 3000

DROP OFF & PICK UP / TAXI, PRIVATE HIRE, UBER

The official ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Pick Up Drop Off is located in the car park on Bridgford Road, opposite the TBI Gate and only a short walk from the Dixon Gate. This location will be sign posted, staffed and available to assist with any of your Uber enquires. You can request your taxi to drop you off along Muster’s Road where there is a designated taxi, private hire and pick up drop off zone. Alternatively, there is an official Hackney taxi rank located in West Bridgford, about 400m from the Dixon Gate.

WALK/CYCLE

Trent Bridge is located in the borough of West Bridgford which is 1 mile from Nottingham Station and 1.5 miles from Nottingham city centre. There will be an official walking route from the station to the ground which will be signposted and our World Cup Cricketeers will cheer you on the way.

At present there is no cycle parking at Trent Bridge. The nearest secure cycle parking is located at the West Bridgford Library.
