Van der Gugten out with injury to left shoulder
Dutch international Timm van der Gugten has been ruled out of the two World Cricket League matches versus Hong Kong on 16 and 18 February. He will be replaced in the Netherlands squad by Zimbabwe born fastbowler Shane Snater, who made his debut for the side in 2016.
Van der Gugten sustained an injury to his left shoulder in the first fielding innings in the I-Cup match against Hong Kong. His input in this match was limited to 7 overs bowling, and no batting. Further investigation into his injury will follow shortly. Van der Gugten will return to Australia for treatment on and rehabilitation of his injury. It is expected he will be out for two months. He will then return to Glamorgan CCC, the UK county he played for in 2016 and which chose him as player of the year.
