ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020
South Africa Women vs Thailand Women
Group B, 11th Match
Manuka Oval, Canberra
February 27, 2020, 15:00 (local)

Preview:

South Africa will look to make it two wins in a row when they take on an inexperienced Thailand side at Canberra in the 11th match of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup on Friday. The Proteas registered a commanding victory over England in their opening encounter of the tournament. The bowlers were superb in restricting England to 123 and the batting held its nerve to complete the chase with six wickets in hand.

Thailand, on the other hand, have been beaten in both their previous games against West Indies and England. While their bowling and fielding has shown fight, they haven't showed much firepower with the bat. But having dismissed West Indies and England’s top order cheaply, they’ll be hoping to make early inroads once again.

Weather conditions:

A bright and sunny day awaits us at Canberra on Friday with the temperature ranging in the mid-20s.

Pitch report:

The Manuka Oval has seen some big totals from England and Australia batting first in recent days. The track should remain good to bat on for the course of the match, so chasing is not a bad option either.
