The VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen is one of two venues of the ICC Women’s World T20 2018 Qualifier.

The ground is one of the older ones in the country, with a history that goes back to 1939. It was the second ground in the Netherlands to have a grass wicket.

Having played host to several games involving Dutch teams, it had its moment of glory during the ICC Cricket World Cup 1999, when it hosted a one-day international between Kenya and South Africa on 26 May.

The most recent ODI played at this venue was between the Netherlands and Ireland on 9 July 2013, during the World Cricket League Championship. The match ended in a tie.

The ground hosted its first Twenty20 International on 30 June 2015 when the hosts played Nepal. In the most recent international here, on 20 June 2018, the visiting Scotland side scored their highest T20I score of 221/3 before bowling the Netherlands out for 106.

The ground will host 10 games during the qualifier, including two play-off semi-finals, the seventh-place play-off and the fifth-place play-off.
