Zimbabwe tour of Australia: How to watch on ICC.tv
It is going to be a historic series when Zimbabwe travel to Australia to play in the land Down Under for the first time in over 18 years.
Both teams head into the three-match series on the back of losses in their previous series – Australia were beaten 2-1 by Sri Lanka away from home while Zimbabwe suffered a 3-0 whitewash at home against India.
The tour will provide both teams with an opportunity to bounce back and get amongst the points in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League standings. The ODI series is part of CWCSL which can lead to direct qualification for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 to be staged in India.
Australia are currently placed eighth in the standings with 70 points, the last automatic qualifying spot and will be hoping to accumulate maximum points against Zimbabwe. The visitors, on the other hand, are a spot off the bottom with just 35 points.
