HEADINGLEY
Headingley will once again play host to some of the world’s best cricketers next summer, having been part of the 1975, 1979, 1983 and 1999 editions of the ICC Cricket World Cup.
It will host four matches at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, including England v Sri Lanka, and will be where Afghanistan play two of their round robin fixtures.
The Windies will also appear at Headingley, where they claimed a heroic Test win against England last year.

PARKING
There is no spectator parking at the ground. The only parking near the venue is in Beckett Park and Car Park K.
Parking at Beckett Park is a 10-minute walk to the ground and access is off Batcliffe Drive. Parking costs £10.00 per vehicle which you pay on the day and only cash payments are accepted.
Car Park K is a 5 minute walk away at Elida Gibbs Sports Ground. Postcode: LS4 2RS. The cost to park here is £10.00, it is best to pre-book your parking to avoid being turned away on the day. On the day it is a first-come, first-served basis. To book your space please click the game you wish to book:
Car Park K has limited spaces, so it is recommended to park at Beckett Park.
A limited number of blue badge parking is available at the venue in Car Park E and F. This needs to be booked in advance by calling (+44) 0113 203 3634.
PRIVATE COACH PARKING
If you are travelling by private coach, parking is available at Beckett Park at a cost of £20. For information on how to get there please see parking information above. There is no drop off or pick up on Kirkstall Lane or St. Michael’s Lane.
PARK & RIDE
Elland Road Car Parks A & B (Postcode: LS11 8RQ) will be operating a Park & Ride service on all match days. It is approximately a 20-minute bus journey from the ground. This is located next to the M621, junction 1 if coming in from the West and junction 2 if coming in from the East. Once you exit the M621 there will be clear signage directing you from there.
It is recommended to book by downloading and opening the First Bus app, then click; mTickets>buy>day, to get a better rate. The costs of the Park & Ride service are as follows:
Adult return: £3 using the app, £3.50 on the day
Child return: £1.50 using the app, £2 on the day
Single Fare: £2 adult, £1 Child. Only available from the ground to the Park & Ride.
Car park opening hours are 7:30 – 20:30. Shuttles run to the ground frequently between 8:15-10:50, then every 20–30 minutes until the last bus to the ground at 13:00.
The first return shuttle will start at 17:00 from the ground and then frequently from 18:10.
BUS
Headingley is well serviced by the local bus network with services from Leeds city centre to Cardigan Road and Kirkstall Lane. Regular buses from the city to the ground are as follows:

No. 56 towards Moor Grange
No. 91 towards Pudsey

TRAIN
Rail is a great option as Headingley can be reached from three different stations. Leeds Station is the main station and offers frequent services from all over the country. From there you can jump in a taxi or use the event day shuttle to take you to the ground.
Burley Park and Headingley Stations are both on the Harrogate Line and within walking distance of the venue.
There will be World Cup Cricketeers at all these stations to welcome you, help answer any questions and guide you to the ground.

DROP OFF & PICK UP / TAXI, PRIVATE HIRE, UBER
Headingley has designated drop-off and pick-up points for all vehicles. Locations will be available soon.
WALK / CYCLE
If you are local to the area, walking is a great way to get around. If you choose to cycle to the match there are cycle racks available at the venue, these are located under the Trueman Enclosure and in Car Park D. Stewards at the gate will direct any cyclists wishing to use these on the day.

Leeds has more listed buildings than any other city outside London. The architectural heritage here is one to marvel at and enjoy when strolling through the centre. For a slice of British history the city has plenty to offer with a number of nearby historic houses, including one of the Treasure Houses of England; Harewood House as well as Lotherton Hall and Temple Newsam. Kirkstall Abbey is one of the most complete Medieval Cistercian Abbeys in the whole of the UK and just ten minutes from the centre of the city.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 has a full, dedicated security team working on plans for a safe and secure tournament for all participants and spectators.
We are working with police in all our host cites and the national security services to ensure the security provided at the tournament is of the highest order, while existing security staff at all CWC19 host venues are receiving additional training in the build-up to the tournament.
There will be enhanced security plans at all our host venues with visible security measures taking place, as well as other non-visible measures happening throughout the tournament, inside and outside the stadium.
