Update released on ticket sales for India’s World Cup warm-up matches
The matches are scheduled to take place in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram on 30 September and 3 October. India will play England at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati their first warm-up fixture ahead of the home World Cup.
Days before the start of the tournament, the hosts play Netherlands, who qualified for the ten-team tournament via the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe earlier this year. The second warm-up game will be played in Thiruvananthapuram.
'It Takes One Day' campaign launched with CWC23 film
The 'It Takes One Day' campaign was launched in Mumbai just 77 days out from the start of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.
Each team at the World Cup will play two warm-up matches apiece ahead of the main tournament and will be allowed to play all 15 players.
The tickets for these two matches will be available from August 30 at 20:00 IST via the official ticketing website https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com.
Tickets for the other warm-up and main matches across the ten venues for the tournament went on sale last week and are available to buy via https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com.
The tickets for the India World Cup matches and the semi-finals and final will be available on the following dates at 8:00 PM IST:
31 August: India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune
1 September: India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai
2 September: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
3 September: India match at Ahmedabad
15 September: Semi-Finals and Final
