The Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier is well and truly underway with all the thrills and spills we love to see in the sport, on the road to the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in India later this year.
As we enter the final stage of the Qualifier, only Bangladesh, and the West Indies remain in the race to progress, with Pakistan having secured their place on Thursday, 17th April.
Here’s how each side stands at the Qualifier:

Pakistan: (4 wins, 8 points, NRR: +1.098) - Qualified
The hosts reached the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 courtesy a comprehensive display at home. They had confident wins against Scotland and Ireland by 38 runs and six wickets respectively, and then sealed a 65-run victory over the West Indies.
This was followed by a clinical 87-run win in a low-scoring encounter against Thailand, where a solid late charge with the bat was complement with a near-perfect execution with the ball.
The Women in Green were bolstered by contributions from a number of players throughout their campaign.

Bangladesh looked well on their way to the Women's World Cup 2025 during their fourth encounter against West Indies, however, late charge from the Maroon Warriors meant that the Tigeresses lost the game by three wickets.
But Nigar Sultana Joty's side is still very much in control of their fate. A win or no result against Pakistan on Saturday will necessarily confirm their qualification, but even if they miss out, all is not over for the Asian side.
With Scotland out of contention after their loss to Ireland, Bangladesh can still make it if West Indies' victory margin against Thailand isn't big enough to overtake them.

Scotland's chances of finishing in the top two on the standings and earning a place at this year's Women's World Cup ended with a loss to Ireland on Friday, 18th April.
They had a stellar start with a surprise win over the West Indies, and then managed to make that two with a win over Thailand. But losses to Pakistan, Bangladesh and Ireland ended them with just four points, ensuring that they won't end in the top two positions.

Despite missing out on a spot to the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup, Ireland managed to return with some consolation with wins over Thailand and Scotland. The latter had a big role in the tournament permutations, as Scotland missed out on a World Cup berth following this loss.

The winners of the previous edition of the tournament, the West Indies had a shaky start to the Qualifier as Scotland staged an upset.
While Hayley Matthews managed to rally her troops to a nail-biting win over Ireland, another loss at the hands of Pakistan left them in a tough spot.
They managed to overcome a spirited Bangladesh, but their chances remain slim, depending on results in other fixtures.
West Indies will need a handsome win in their final game against Thailand, and hope for the permutations in the Pakistan-Bangladesh encounter to fall in their favour.

Thailand's loss to Ireland on Tuesday was an end to their qualification hopes, and while they did give Pakistan some fight early in their fourth game, they lost the plot during the chase.
While they lost against Women in Green, a surprise win against West Indies will be a morale boost for the Asian side, and will end West Indies' campaign.
