Umpires named for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finals
An experienced group will comprise the Emirates Elite Panel of Match Officials for the semi-finals of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Nimali Perera, Jacquline Williams, Lauren Agenbag, and Claire Polosak are the four officials who will be the on-field umpires for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finals.
Perera and Williams will be the ones going first up, in the semi-final clash between Australia and South Africa on 17 October 2024. They will be joined by Anna Harris as the third umpire, fourth umpire Kim Cotton, and match referee Michell Pereira.
This will be a second successive semi-final for Perera, who officiated last year’s knockout game between India and Australia in South Africa. So far, she has stood in two of South Africa’s group matches, against Bangladesh and West Indies, while Williams has been in the middle for three of the Proteas’ games so far.

The second semi-final, in which West Indies face New Zealand in Sharjah, will have South African Agenbag and Australian Polosak overseeing proceedings from the middle.
Agenbag was just 28 when she stood in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 final, thus becoming the youngest-ever umpire to officiate in a Cricket World Cup final
Both Agenbag and Polosak have officiated in four group matches in this tournament thus far.
The duo will be joined by Eloise Sheridan as the third umpire, with Vrinda Rathi as the fourth umpire. GS Lakshmi will be the match referee.
