Jasprit Bumrah misses Australia second innings with back injury
India captain batted at No.10, but back injury forces fast bowler out from rest of contest.

An injured Jasprit Bumrah has missed Australia's second batting innings at the Sydney Cricket Ground, watching on as Australia claimed the Border-Gavaskar Ttophy and a spot in the World Test Championship 2025 Final.

Mohammed Siraj instead shared the new ball alongside Prasidh Krishna, with Bumrah's cut-through missing as Australia won the contest by six wickets.
The hosts reclaimed a trophy absent from the cabinet for 10 years, with Scott Boland claiming Player of the Match honours with a 10-wicket haul.

Bumrah did take his spot at No.10 in India's batting innings, but was the last wicket to fall, bowled by Boland who finished the second innings with 6/45 to go with his first innings 4/31.
